FARMINGTON AAUW GENERAL MEETINGS ARE OPEN, WEDNESDAYS IN

THE FARMINGTON HILLS City Hall Community Room.

Below are the exciting, informative meetings AAUW Farmington presented for 2016-2017

Lydia Mcklin-Camel, Farmington Hills Energy Prize Coordinator gave an updte on the Georgetown University energy prize for which Farmington Hills and Farmington are vying.

Haile Black, Executive Director described the work of “rebuilding,” organizes volunteers to help disabled, needy, aged and veteran residents maintain their homes and yards.

Mary Brown, retired fps teacher described her work in organizing and maintaining a lending library for young women and girls at Vista Maria..

Gabrielle Kosiba, a Farmington Public school student, described her year as an exchange student in Germany. She described some of the differences and similarities between the two countries.

The Gourmet Group meets monthly or bi-monthly.
Group activities include restaurant luncheons or attendees
bring a dish to share with others at a members home.
